We study the coupled development of craniofacial and sensory tissues using multi-omics to understand the genetics basis of morphological evolution, adaptation and malfunction.

By studying how different tissues develop across pupfish species, our lab comparatively explore the primary process in where different layers of genetic and cell regulation orchestrates phenotypic divergence and extreme adaptation.
